I’m Jay. I’ve spent more than 10,000 hours teaching students of all ages, in Brisbane and around the world, to read hard books, write with precision, and speak so that people listen.
My degree is in the classical liberal arts, with a focus on history, literature, philosophy and theology, and I’m currently completing a Master of Education. Outside the classroom I preach and teach at my church here in Brisbane, so I practise what I teach.

Unfortunately, according to data taken since 2000, student’s overall English results have been steadily declining and too many students are being caught in this decline. We aim to fix that.
